My sister got married at the Little Chapel of the West (past Mandalay Bay on LV Blvd) and it was small but cute and the officiant was very nice. Her reception was at the Venetian - basically a cocktail party in a converted suite. The food was great, the room was just the right size with plenty of seating and everyone had a good time. Her rehearsal dinner was in the Canaletto restaurant in the Venetian. I am a huge fan of the Venetian as the staff truly bends over backwards to assist their guests.
If I were you, since money isn't an option, I would look at some of the big resort's wedding chapels and reception areas unless you want a themed wedding (Star Trek, medieval etc.). I'd look at the Venetian, the Wynn, Bellagio and Mandalay Bay.

hi there - we got married at the Bellagio in September last year and that was wonderful. Out of the independent chapels I really like Graceland Wedding Chapel, Little Chapel fo the Flowers and Little Church of the West.
You can browse every chapel in Las Vegas and search every wedding package by cost using the website below - there's also an online magazine.
Have fun deciding!

My wife and I got married at Ceasar's Palace in the Terazza Garden. It was beautiful. The outdoor chapel was surrounded by Ivy, and had stone pillars, a coy fish pond, and stone pughes (sp?) to hold over 60 people. The cost was roughly $3,000 which included the wedding planner, photographer, videographer (you got a DVD and VHS tape of the ceremony), flowers, officiate, classical guitarist for music, a two night free stay in a honeymoon suite which had a his/hers bathroom and jacuzzi, a view of the gardens and pool, a flat screen T.V. which welcomed us by name, and a complimentary bottle of very good champagne.
We had the dinner/reception in the adjacent restaraunt which was about $5,000. That included EXCELLENT food for 35 people, and open bar for two hours, and a private dining room and cake.
The people were great, they gave a discount to all our family and friends for staying there and we had the time of our lives. People still talk about that being the best wedding they had ever been to. It was the greatest day of my life and well worth the money. Great deal if you ask me!
Congrats and good luck!

Congrats to you! I'm getting married in Las Vegas in October. You have to get this book : Neon Nuptials by Ken Van Vechten. It helped me a LOT. He rates a ton of the chapels and hotels, gives you info about each one. My fiance and I wanted a kitschy wedding with Elvis, and we chose the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. Look them up on the web. They do themed and traditional weddings. I have emailed back and forth with their wedding planner, Jasmine, and she is a great help. And most of their weddings are broadcast for FREE on the internet, so your family and friends can watch.
Good luck!
