what else can you do? 4.5 for an nfl reciever, corner is slow barely average at best. now if your big enough to play LB thats different. speed doesnt matter if you dont have heart and know how to play. thats not enough info to know man, but dont let anybody tell you that you CANT! if thats what you want to do go for it.

Well a 4.5 forty is more than likely fast enough to get you into the NFL if you are serious about it. Though the position you play could impact how good that really is. Receivers and corners run in the 4.2-4.4 range, running backs and safeties in the 4.2-4.5 range, linebackers and tight ends in the 4.4-4.7 range and finally lineman run in the 4.6-5.2 range. If you are a quarterback or kicker it doesn't matter at all how fast you run.

Even if you ran the 40 in 4.0 seconds, you probably wouldn't make it to the NFL. Think. There are many track stars in the world. Not many of them could make the NFL.

Well, it depends on other things as well. What position are playing and how well can you play it? If you play as a WR or CB, then 4.5 may scare off a couple of pro teams. You would then have to show some outstanding abilities in other skills.

Michael Johnson can run it much faster that you (one of the worlds fastest men) but he most likely wouldnt be able to play in the nfl.
if however you can cut across the field and juke and take some hits maybey you could be a special teams specialist.
What grade are you, tell me cause if your just a freshman in highschool you outta be on eof the fastes once you get to college (senior year)

this is nothing to judge on, and since no-one on yahoo answers can see you play through their computer monitor, there is no-way that anyone on here can give you a definite yes or no answer, but i would guess that the answer is no becuase there are 300 million people in this country and there are only 32 nfl teams with roughly 70 players on their roster (thats 2240 people), and you probably arent going to be one of the people that makes up .07% of the entire country
not trying to crush your dreams, it just happened that way

Gee, lets see, ummm, can you catch, pass, block, tackle, make cuts, run good routes, kick, take a beating, have stamina, read a defense or offense?
Love these open ended questions.
