believe me, you will want to take it out. The entire groin area goes through alot of pressure, trauma and sretching during the birth process, and any additional pressures or sensations caused by the ring will be very uncomfortable. Take it out for delivery, it may be a while before you want to reinsert it.

My hood is peirced and when I went in for my full exam at the begining of pregnancy, my doctor told me it would have to be removed for the labour. She said 24 hours. So I'm hoping that it wont heal or close at all during that time. Although will anyone put it back in for me?? thats a question I have.. LOL

Good luck!

mine was pierced for 6 years before i got pregnant and i only planned on taking it out for delivery b/c i was scared it would rip. but at 7 months my body started rejecting the metal and I had to remove it. i had my baby 2 months ago and the piercing hole is still open but i haven't put it back in yet b/c i actually think sex feels better without it. good luck

you might want to take it out closer to deliveryt o avoid infection anyway. when you give birth it's not just the hole that stretches it's everything. i would take it out because it seriously feel like someone tried to blow your clit up like a balloon lol everything swells and everything stretches. good luck :)

They are probably going to make you take it out during birth. They made my friend do it. Also, all thatis going on down there, you might not want anything else that can cause more pain.

Nope. The hospital will remove all jewelry... rings, earrings, glasses, and anything you may have below the equator...

If you beg them, they let you keep your glasses on. But that's really all they'll allow while you're giving birth.

I'm pretty sure it hurts bad enough.I think you will definantly be rethinking that at the time of giving birth.

Your doctor will most likely ask you to remove it during the pregnancy, but even if it remains in you will not be allowed to have it in during delivery.
