There is very little difference. Abortion that late is criminal.

One has been born, the other has not (well is actually in the process of being born if you literally meant 1 minute). One is a citizen of the country where it was born, the other not.
Since abortions in the last trimester are illegal in all 50 states there would not be any difference if someone killed the child.

They are not different. However, there is a big difference between a viable baby and a fetus/embryo/fertilized egg that has no viability outside the mother's body.
Nice try finding a strawman. Roe v. Wade does NOT provide for abortion to be unfettered in late pregnancy.

ALIVE................and you're traveling deep into space like SPOK on the legal issues of abortion or illegal, whichever side you are on.......In my eyes, they are the same........but that's me and I'm not a Supreme Court Justice........your analogy MAKES them the same......different scenario......what's the difference between a fetus 1 minute old and a fetus 9 months old? different scenario--and I'm not God and I do not judge people for their choices or their opinions, nor should you......they have to live with their choices.....not us, and if they chose to keep that 1 minute old fetus and since they didn't want it, would it be cared for properly? Being a mother of 2 and knowing how difficult it is to raise children in our society, I cannot honestly say that if someone does not want a child they will care for it lovingly....adoption---I'm all for it........but it's their body.....not my choice......

The first breath of life....that's what makes the difference....if a baby has taken a breath of real air....unfortunatly......that's the only thing I can come up with....Personally, I think it is a baby long before actual birth but legally, it's not......If the baby has taken the breath of life....it is Murder...if not...then....sadly.....it's not.....

Way to disguise an abortion opinion question. Bet you couldn't guess that it would split along party lines, huh?
But the answer is that the child is now breathing air and surviving on its own.

I guess it's because you can't see all the features of an unborn child. But for me anytime there is a child, even if it is a zygote or a fetus, it's a child.
