My friend is having a baby girl, and wants to name her after her deceased father and deceased sister. Their names were Jim and Priscilla. How could she incorporate both names as the babys first name?

She could name her Priscilla James ______ as if James were a family surname
My best idea is to name the child Priscilla FATHER'slastname Daddy's last name.
Like Priscilla Bennett Johnson
or Priscilla Jones Smith.
That way the child's whole family ( mother and father's side) is represented in her name.
If you are not having a daddy, then name her Priscilla Daddy's name and THEN your last name. Like it or not, she has both heritages.
Then it might be Priscilla Johnson(the daddy) Smith (YOU)
Please don't make up a goofy name that mixes jim and priscilla. It will make her be judged as a hillbilly.
If you must: Jamilla comes to mind.
That might work. Names don't have to be exact, just to remind you of them.

Was her father's real name James and he just went by Jim for short? I've heard of a lot of girls who's middle names were James. How about just Priscilla James?

I dont mean to sound harsh, but she should really just name the baby something she likes, and that suits the last name. I have always left hte middle names for carrying on family names, and all my children have middle names from family members. but their first names are just names we thought were nice.

Prim
Jiscilla

lol i dont think it's possible to come up with a half decent name by combining the 2.

edit: what about Jilla? i think thats kinda cute actually.

It would be easier for a middle name to incorporate both OR, she could do a first and middle with versions of their names.

Jamilla (I personally hate it lol, but it's there)
Lilla Jaimes/Jaime or Jaime Lilla
Jalia
Jillian/Jillia
Janie/Janey
