If the soundcard is part of the main motherboard, try looking on the CD the motherboard came with.
If the soundcard is a PCI plug in model, it would have come with a CD.

You need to find out WHAT model it is before you have a chance to try downloading them

Have you got a soundcard installed ? if not you won't get any sound untill you buy one. Windows xp does not come with built in sound card drivers. If you do have a soundcard installed you can go to it's properties and download the drivers from their it will search the net for them. BUT it might not find them if it's an old card.

if its an OEM computer such as an HP, compaq, emachine etc...go to the manufacters website and look for drivers for your model. If its a home built system or you added the sound card later go to the vender of the sound cards website

I have this problem all the time. Just because I wear a bunny suit does NOT mean I'm fair game in the office. Seriously. And when I catch them starting at my tail they turn around and act like I'M the obsessed one. I agree with you. Just tell them to ask you out like normal people. I love my dad too.

You'll need to get drivers from either the motherboard website or the cdrom that came with the motherboard if you have it.
