Please do not tell me 'everyone knows', or it's on the govt website (it's not). Just give me the exact statute in Subtitle A 'income tax' which states 'who's liable'.

Not subtitle 'C' employment tax. Tom Cryer couldn't find where he was liable, so he stopped filing and recently found not guilty. Vernice Kuglan(?) a fed ex pliot was also found 'not guilty' for 'tax evasion' - she couldn't find the statute either.

So will anyone, show me the exact statute of who's LIABLE for subtitle A 'Income Tax'?

That's not the law and that's not even how the IRS interprets the law. Only people who earn above a certain amount need to file a 1040. Tax is imposed on taxable income earned by individuals in section one of title 26 of the U.S. Code. The determination of what is taxable income is determined by sections 61-3 of the same. Section 6011 states that anyone who is liable for income tax must file a return or statement according to the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury. That form is the 1040 or one of its many variants. Moreover, section 6012 requires that anyone with income over the exemption amount file a return.

How about this? If you refuse to file any more 1040 forms, we'll all make sure to write to you in prison every week, mmk?

No, it probably wouldn't come to that, but failure to file an income tax form--even if you maintain that such taxes are either illegal or unconstitutional--will result in negative governmental attention. They would probably levy a garnishment on your paychecks.

I am ssoooooo sick of filing taxes every single year!!! you should bring this up in a group (listed below). TAXES SUCKKKKK!!!

but of course write offs and tax breaks keep hooking up the rich. Yeah Bush give 'em more tax cuts.

i guess no one ever heard of simply a national sales tax. naa that would balance out the taxes and make it fair accross the boards!
