Isabelle is gorgeous...so elegant, sophisticated, modern, yet so simple and trendy. I could see someone with the name Isabelle going far in life.

McKenzie, however, I'm not sure about, I don't like names that people get confused whether they are girl or boy, but if its what you want then its your decision.

I definitely like McKenzie much more for a boy than a girl. Isabelle is a pretty name, but so common now that it's lost any specialness.

Nice choices. I love the name McKenzie - it's originally a Scottish surname so it works great for a boy or a girl. Kenzie on it's own also sounds pretty cool. Isabelle is really beautiful. You could call her Izzy for short. :-)

Love Love Love Isabelle - such a beautiful classy name. Quite like McKenzie too - quite cute - you could call him Mac or Kenzie for short. Prefer the spelling Mackenzie or MacKenzie. The Mc at the start reminds me too much of McDonald's! The only thing that would worry me is that even though I see it as a good strong scottich boys name - I have heard of many girls called Mackenzie.

MacKenzie is a common Scottish surname, traditionally denoting membership in the MacKenzie clan. The MacKenzies have been a significant clan in Scotland for at least 700 years. MacKenzie itself is an Anglicization of the Gaelic MacCoinneach, "son of Coinneach." The Mac- prefix in Scottish names means "son of." Coinneach is derived from cainneach (fair one; handsome). Hence: "son of the bright one". The spelling Mackenzie is a popular variant for the first name
