I'm a New England girl... Love the Pats, always have. I really feel, though I'm quite sick of the damn hype about Moss, they will have a great chance this year.

What do you think? I mean from a professional stand point, given the new drafts and the trades and all, not any dumb as s "my team is better than yours" crap.

Even if you hate the pats lol, what do you think about their chance this year? Last year they had a lot of injuries, and did well, but didnt go the distance...

THE PATS ARE AWESOME!!!
They truly have all ducks in a row to win the SUPERBOWL this year, but sorry to say Tom Brady is truly the glue that holds this team together and if injury strikes him this year.NOT A CHANCE! Cassell is a really good back up but I don't think he could handle the pressure long term.It was a big mistake to sign Vinny T to a 1yr deal I think it that veteran contract should have gone to Doug Flutie and we all know the luck he brings to BOSTON!

I too am a Patriots fan, living in Mass my entire life...

The Patriots will most likely come bring home their 4th Superbowl of the millennium. They have added great depth on offense, signing a recieving core that will help Brady take another step towards becoming the top QB in the league. He is no doubt the best cutch QB, but in past seasons his wideouts were no names other than veteran Troy Brown; Brady just knows how to spread the ball across the field and if you ask him who is favorite reciever is, he always response with... the open one. By adding Randy Moss, Dante Stallworth, and Wes Walker, you can be sure that he has some great hands to throw to. Moss is a freak and can go up and catch just about anything in his vacinity, while Stallworth has speed to burn on deep routes; those two will open up shorter route options for Wes Welker who will be left open on double coverage down field. In addition, Sammy Morris was signed as another RB after Corey Dillon requested his release (as he is expected to retire soon). On defense, Adalius Thomas is the big name that will really help to fill the gaps; he is a versatile pass-rushing outside linebacker (and defensive end at times) who can do for the team what Willie McGinest once did. Junior Seau is also back this season at ILB, so hopefully he can stay heathly this season and have more of an impact. They also picked up Brandon Merriweather at the draft who will help at free safety behind Eugine Wilson. If Asante Samuel comes to agreement with the Pats before the season they will be unbelievable. Look for them to be celebrating in Phoenix this coming February.

Brady will be the key. He's gettin up there in age for a QB. He's in his 8th or 9th season now! He can only take so many hits before he can't get back up because of an injury. As long as his offensive line holds up, I don't see him spending a lot of time on the ground.

I don't see them going undefeated, but I do see them going to the playoffs. There's some "well-seasoned" players, but where is the fresh blood? Besides Moss and the draft picks... They need some new players.

But they'll still lose on 12/9. Make no mistake about that.

I love the Pats...and I think there is a reason to get excited about Randy Moss too...If you are a real fan, you know that he is the best receiver that Tom Brady has ever had in his career...with the possible exception of Troy Brown

I think you will get Patriot fans and raw haters.
I think 14-2. The losses are at Miami (traditional loss)
and vs. NYG because BB "rests" starters and the Matt Cassel lead team is beaten by little brother.

(Oh, since Miami came into the AFL I need both hands to count NE wins in Miami. I barely need two hands.:))

WOOT, i am a HUDGE pats fan and i will say they will be AMAZING. Moss is a hudge gain, but everyone seems to forget about Adalius Thomas, the linebacker from the Ravens. He should bring athletisizm to our linebackers. We struggle in the running game, but our passing yards and TD's will make up for it, I see an AMAZING season for the pats.

About as good as last years, if not better. I will be seeing them in Dallas in Oct.14. I hope the Cowboys can pull that one off, it should be a good game.

Patriots look good on paper. We'll have to wait until the games start for real.
