my accent is a mixture of east coast accent mixed w/ a little bit of southern accent.....it's how most of us talk here in the Mid-Atlantic. The weird thing is most of the time I don't hear t much because i think I sound regular....but when I lived in Ohio couple years back, everyone I met said I had an accent. They said I sounded like I was from the Carribean, then the thought I was Caribbean!

I'm from the northwest USA and didn't think I had an accent. Someone asked me one time if I was from the south cause he thought I had a little southern twang. Didn't realize I did. I'll call it the Idahoan accent.

I live at the Jersey Shore so a lot of people here talk like those from North Jersey (The Sopranos kind of accent). But I don't think I talk like that at all. I don't really have one.

Aye an' a bit of Mackeral settler rack and ruin
ran it doon by the haim, 'ma place
well I slapped me and I slapped it doon in the side
and I cried, cried, cried.
The fear a fallen down taken never back the raize and then Craig Marion,
get out wi' ye Claymore out mi pocket a' ran doon, doon the middin stain
picking the fiery horde that was fallen around ma feet.
Never he cried, never shall it ye get me alive
ye rotten hound of the burnie crew. Well I snatched fer the blade O my
Claymore cut and thrust and I fell doon before him round his feet.
Aye! A roar he cried frae the bottom of his heart that I would nay fall
but as dead, dead as 'a can be by his feet; de ya ken?
...and the wind cried back. ts
Bartender, 3 pints for McDuff and a thumbs up!!

I have a severe Massachusetts accent. I'm fully non-rhotic (no Rs like couhtyahd and pahk) and I use all the MA slang such as "clicker" instead of "remote" and "down-cellar" instead of "in the basement."
