I accidentally pulled the fire from my headset and they hit the ground. Now, the right speaker barely works and something broke loose inside and is making noise when I move it.

If I take them back and tell them I didn't drop it will they replace it?

I meant the wire not the "fire" lol

Probably not. If it rattles it tends to indicate user damage. U could ASK them but DO NOT tell them "I didn't drop it"

Better to simply accept the honest truth, it was user error and simply buy a new one

You wouldnt have to be a recurring role on CSI to figure out what happened to those speakers.

My guess is no...

but it depends on your brand. I got some Skull Candy Noise cancelers and these things have been through hell and back - when the plastic casing started breaking down though I sent them back for replacement under my warranty - no problem.

But if you cant get them replaced theres still hope of unscrewing the lid and re-fastening the wire by hand - Just dont do it before you try to return them!
