I think it used to have keyless entry. Now if you lock the doors, the alarm goes off for like 5 minutes whenever you unlock them with the key and open the door. it will go off again whenever you open the door again, until the door has been opened and closed (and the alarm has sounded) 5 times. If it can't be disabled, are there any tricks maybe to at least shut the alarm up after it has been triggered ?

anti-theft system are intergrated into the computer. easiest way to disarm is to remove the fuse or relay. this wil not fix the problem.get another remote from the dealer and have them program the car to receive that signal or it maybe a motion sensor or wiring is the problem. take to the shop the remote doesn't fix it.

Is this an after market alarm system or the factory system? If it is the factory system then I would take it to a dealer and have him get two keyless remotes and start using them. Then that should take care of the alarm problem and you can have the benefit of the key fobs. Good luck

Not without knowing if it's factory installed or after market, and what brand. If it's factory installed, the dealer is your best resource. If not, try to find a web page for the manufacturer with a contact number.
