Yeah, it's really weird! It's like, "is that MY voice??" But I think that recorders don't capture the sound waves of your voice all that accurately, so whenever I hear my voice, I think it's distorted a little bit. Whenever I heard my band teacher's voice on a recording when he was playing one of their performances, I usually can't tell it's his voice, so I am pretty sure that voice recorders distort the sound....

Yes...I sound way different than I think I do! Actually I sound like a little kid...it's weird & I always wonder if I really sound that way to others too! lol =D

Kinda. You know whats wierd??? Mine and My Mom's voice sound EXACTLY the same on the phone!!! Nobody can tell us apart on the phone lol. We sound completly different in real life though.

Your voice sounds different to you inside of your mind. But when you hear outside of your head such as a recording you hear what it really sounds like. "In your head voice is wrong." "Recording voice is correct"

Yes, I either sound like a have a cold or if I'm a 7 year old... o_O
It's worse when I record my singing because it sounds all nasaly...

Ya sometimes it does. Like it sounds like I am sick or not myself. That's why I never record my voice.

YES!! I have been told that I have a beautiful voice however, when I hear it back, it sounds just all wrong and nasty lol!!
