I'm from Boston and I will tell you something that is well-known and understood here: "New England weather can change in an instant." A perfect example, today is 12 degrees cooler than it was yesterday, and it should be about 20 degrees cooler tomorrow than it should be normally. With that said, if it does say scattered thunderstorms, it may or may not thunder at all. It's really all play-it-by-ear. For you, I'd just bring a raincoat or sweatshirt just in case. The storms shouldn't last too long, maybe a few hours at most, although it has been known to rain all night. With Fenway, they will try their best usually to get the game in and will just have a rain delay until it stops or is light enough that the game can go on. As well, it may be raining elsewhere in the state, but it may not be raining in Boston when you're there...you never know...I'd just say be prepared for the worst, because Boston weather can surprise you.

Anything anyone says about New England weather is a complete guess. They can last as long as in California or as short as a couple hours. But the big problem I see here is that the forecast was a week in advance, and most of the time, forecasts more than 2 or 3 days in advance mean nothing. I'm sure you will be able to see your baseball games, and at worst one might be canceled but there's only a very clim chance that both will be canceled

A. go to the ball game in the rain- as long as they keep playing, weather is a stupid reason to give it up
B. it depends on the storm, NYC has been flooded by its most recent storm, while Boston has gone through a bit of a dry spell, with one storm that lasted a few hours in the middl of the night.

typically the storms are gone as fast as they came, unless of course its a large rain storm, but usually if they say scattered showers the games will be fine, especially in Boston, alot of the thunderstorms tend to go north or south of the city any storm that goes through boston typically will only last a few minutes..

It depends, really. A storm could last anywhere from 5 minutes to several hours. Usually, the harder the rain comes down the quicker it's over.

I'm from NY(Long Island) and the storms usaully don't last that long..an hour or so. It is very humid now so that is why they are saying scarred T-storms...don't worry, you'll be able to see your Yankee game.

in many circumstances kinda chilly. you ought to get a spell of warmth climate while you're right here, yet do no longer anticipate it. i does no longer recommend vacationing the northeast in November, i could wait till finally could you're companies to particularly a lot of precipitation any time of 12 months in New England or long island. in spite of the shown fact that it's going to be greater depressing in November than say June with the aid of fact it incredibly is that lots chillier
