Would you consider it dangerous to ask people to publish their ideas on how to kill everyone in the Democratic Party ?
How About If They Asked How To Kill Everyone In Your State ?
How About Your Town ?
How About Your Family ?
That's exactly what the New York Times reporter did !! And that's exactly what some ******** user on here did !!!
This is one of those issues that's important for EVERY American to understand .
What Should Be Done With Those Who Do This ?

momsplinter - The author's name is Levitt . The article and invitation to participate is a giant news story . He asks people to post their suggestions on how to carry-out a successful terrorist attack on America . He got hundreds if not thousands of suggestions . As of this afternoon it was still up on the NYT site , although they were many cries for it to be taken down . How is it even possible that you could miss it ?

Brainstorming threats is not a crime - it is a step toward reducing threats.
Get yer spin out of overdrive.

Went on the New York Times web-site to see if I could find the story. That is a large Liberal based newspaper that is for sure.
Can't find the article. Too much there for me to want to search through right now. Who is the author/reporter? What was the name of the story or poll? Something to go on. I would like to read it?
Date of article?
Section?
Constitution? You need a shrink!
Thanks

i'm particular the guy you assaulted would disagree. penitentiary is meant to be a deterrant. Why would we desire criminals serving the community with the possibility there to commit extra crime. Why would we desire extra human beings on curfew as quickly as we've already got maximum of folk breaching curfews. in case you're under lock and key then the accepted public can relax certain that they are risk-free from you or the different convicted offender for that length of time. in case you question me, build extra prisons and make human beings serve what they have been sentenced to and not 0.5 (what a comedian tale). penitentiary should not be an basic trip. in case you do no longer like it then I propose you hold your nostril sparkling!

Well, considering it came from the New York Times, it's an anti-American publication run by liberals who hate America and want to see traditional values, politics and religion (of all kinds) destroyed.
The reporter should be charged with treason and strung up. But I doubt that will happen since it didn't happen to John Kerry or Jane Fonda.

The NYT is reaping the consequences of its actions - circulation is plummeting, and it has been exposed as the biased journal it is.
PS People talk of inspecting cargo. By the time it gets to the US, it's TOO LATE to prevent a bombing. We rely on the manifests, cargo, etc. to be in order at the port of departure.
And no doubt, if Bush decided we needed more inspections, his opponents would say it's more "spying." The idea is to gainsay everything, not accomplish anything.

well with free speech and all I guess we wouldn't be any better than them if we shut them up.. but if Karma "Happened" to catch up with them and they find themselves in an Ironic situation... I'm sure I wouldn't feel bad for them.
Now that's assuming it's just talk on their part.
Edit: like one of the ladies below said.. I agree that it is dangerous and puts bad ideas into some peoples heads.. but so does rap music and some science fiction even.. How do we as a society define that legal line? (an honest question, not a rhetorical one)

Accumulating ideas about how different terrorist attacks could happen is the first step in taking precautions to prevent them. Stop overreacting.

Freedom of speech extends to everyone. Verifiable, Actionable physical threats do not. Do you have evidence this individual actually plans on committing these acts? No different than talking to someone and saying "I'm late I've got to get to place X by time X..." does that imply you are going to speed to get there. In that case you should be written the speeding ticket before you go.
By the way, how do you kill everyone in your state?

Hate speech/hate crime is defined by targeting anyone of a particular group of people defined by race, religion, gender, political affiliation. Yes, political affiliation is included in hate speech protection.
I think discussions like that are dangerous and irresponsible because it puts ideas of violence in people's heads and tries to imply that some people are less worthy of basic rights (like to live!) than others.

I would be more concerned with the fact that people could probably come up with about a thousand ways to attack us, as we have done nothing to protect ourselves.
