Personally, I would prefer different middle names... but it's your baby, therefore, it's your decision:)

I personally wouldn't use the same middle name for both children. I actually knew a set of brothers (not twins) named Michael Thomas and Thomas Michael. Their mother never heard the end of it! My suggestion is to change Grace's middle name just slightly.
Carmindy Rae
Grace LaRae
or
Carmindy Rae
Grace Raelynn
or even
Carmindy Larae
Grace Lanae
So yes, it is OK for siblings to have the same middle name, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Just in my opinion, I would not use the same name for the middle name. I do like the first names you have chosen! Have you thought about using a similar sounding middle name, something that has just a slight variation?
Don't be pressured by your family to use other family member's name! In the end, the only thing that matters is what YOU and your HUSBAND think is best, they are after all your children, and you get to choose the name especially since you will be carrying them and giving birth! :)
best of luck!

I love the name Rae, but I don't know if I would use it for both of them. I don't particularly like it with Grace. Also, Grace is a very common name compared to Carmindy.... it doesn't really sound like the names go together really all that well.
Who cares what the grandparents want, they're your children!
I have a cousin that has five sons, and they all have the middle name Lawrence, after their father. It's not my cup of tea, but if that's what you want.... I'm just glad you don't want to give them "matchy" names.

I think that twins should have their own personallities. When I was pregnant with my first set of twins, if they were girls their name was going to be Kaitlyn Paige and Alexis Danielle. I had g/b, so I chose Kaitlyn Paige and Zachary Sean. If I have twin girls with this twin pregnancy one of the names will be Alexis Danielle. My cousin and I have the same middle name, mine is spelled Lyn and hers is Lynn.

I wouldn't do it especially for twins. There are so many beautiful names out there why would you settle for using 3 when you have the chance to use four, LOL. Plus, Grace Rae doesn't sound right.

Personally, I think it would be better if they had different middle names. But I know of four sets of twins that have the same middle names.
The one set of twins (girl/boy) are:
Ashley Paul and Alec Paul
The second set of twins (girl/girl) are:
Abby Katelin and Gabby Katelin
The third set of twins (boy/boy) are:
Anthony Joseph and Timothy Joseph
The fourth set of twins (girl/girl) are:
Nike Sharpay and Nelly Sharpay

It's okay. My brother and I all have the same middle name. My sister is the only one with a different middle name. In other words, 4 boys with the same middle, and a girl with a different middle name.

Well...there could be a slight jealousy issue if you have more kids that they don't have the same middle name as their older sisters. It's common in many parts of the world for kids to have the same middle names that is their father's first name.

My sister and I have the same middle name just spelled different. Mine is traditional Marie and hers is Maree. I think it's cute and if that name means something to you, by all means. Besides, middle names were originally given as sort of a filler name or to honor a saint, a woman would drop her middle name when she married and replace it with her maiden name.
Your babies, your names.
