Where do you live that a loaf costs £17.5 million. Stop bleating. Leeds broke the rules, got caught and were punished. The West Ham thing was wrong but that doesnt matter. Its a different issue.
41 clubs have been through the administration process correctly. Ken Bates thought he could pull a fast one by not getting a CVA (or two if you count the 10 point deduction at the end of last season instead of this). Its now turned round and bit his ****.
The petulance has started now. Wise blaming the rest of the league for the 15 points lost, but perhaps he should look at the club first. The previous board who were happy to bankroll o'leary. The fans who gloated which new signings were coming, then when the going got tough dissapeared. 36k average crowd in the premiership to 21k last. Thats the real problem. Marching on together? Going down on your own more like.

Sorry but with West Ham - Someone came to them (Joorabchien) and said "would you like 2 of the best young players in the world for free (Tevez and Mascherano) , the only catch is I will decide when they leave." West Ham said "YES!!" just as I'm sure any other club would have done in the same position. They just didn't know a smallprint premierleague rule...

Leeds knew if you go into administration you lose points, when it didn't matter if they lost points they saw a way of clearing their debts without any punishment. Unfortunately for them the other clubs saw right through what they were doing....

PS I'm not a fan of either club - I support Ipswich

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this, then I read the add on. Leeds broke clear rules, West Ham, just a bit murkier.
You should have beaten my boys in the play offs, and then you wouldn't be whinging. Leeds over spent, played badly, and had Tottenham syndrome, believed they were a massive club, and did sweet F.A. about proving it for years.
The bubble burst, that stuff hit the fan, oh and you got Bates, not sure about that bit though.
West Ham, well the F.A. thought they were going down any way, so when they didn't, guess what, too bloody late with out showing the egg on the face.
Life is not fair, but then what is!

I wouldn't say West Ham got away with murder, more like robbery.
But Leeds........well it was quite a large loaf!!!

But the important thing here is finality. The whole saga that started from Risdale to O'Leary, to administration to relegation, has finally ended with this deduction.

Once you reach rock bottom, there's only place to go....upwards........unless of course, this isn't the end for Leeds.
Nah, I doubt it, this is the end of Leed's problems. Promotion might be tough, they certainly aren't a Juventus to overhaul 15 points and be promoted, but I think better days will come their way.
It might take a few seasons, like it did in the 80s, but they'll eventually find their way back to the top division.

They lost the appeal so minus 15 points means almost certain relegation, the few players they have will desert them at the first opportunity. Leeds will be in the conference (or whatever it is called) within 3 seasons.

West Ham should have been deducted 10 points and relegated and Tevez should not be allowed to play in the UK for 3 years. His agent should be banned from selling any players to UK clubs for 3 years.

Sheffield United should be promoted to replace West Ham and given 5 points start to make up for the loss of revenue suffered.

PS I'm a Wolves fan not a blade so no bias.

Yes! how right you are. as already stated it WAS decided by the rest of the league clubs which is probably a fair way of doing it.
What a pity the premier league don,t see fit to do things in a fair way, a pity for Sheff. Utd. that is, as we have seen many times on answers it has only been viewed as fair by whu connections.
There IS a comparison to be made here by the way, the
comparison between right and wrong.

Rules are rules I wouldn,t have thought how large or small they were printed would add weight to any argument one way or the other would you?

Thankyou. West Ham escaped with a fine we get docked 15 points. Talk about being mean.
