They lost point in their credit score? Can it be used against me upon employment etc? Thanks all.

The only consequence is that they don't pay you much and it is hard to make ends meet. Otherwise it does not affect much else. Yes, employers get a tax break for hiring people on assistance.

Actually, it HELPS you to gain employment. Employers receive a tax exemption for employing people on public assistance. It does NOT affect credit score. Your credit score reflects your income & payment history.

The fact that you are using public assistance is private. Your employer does not need to know and it doesn't affect your credit.
