I'm Pro-choice because sometimes things happen and you aren't ready for them. Some people just don't want kids and accidents can happen. If someone is raped and get pregnant from it then shouldn't she have the right to get rid of the fetus if she wants to, I mean it wasn't her fault that she was raped. If the baby was concieved because of incest then they might want to get rid of the kid. Sometimes there are just things that happen and you have to make decisions then. I would have one if the situation had no other alternative. And having a baby is a great responsibility that not everyone is ready or equipt to handle. For some people it is the best answer. For others it may not be, it all depends on the person. Besides I really stand by the whole 'it is a woman's body and she can do with it what she wants' thing. I also feel that if someone gets accidently pregnant and they are in a relationship that they should tell the guy what they are going to do.

Why does it have to be an either-or? If the female was raped or found out the child has a severe, crippling birth defect, (which has happened, such as a woman in Argentina who found out her infant didn't have a front part of the head) she has the right to end her pregnancy.
If she made a "mistake" it is her own damned fault and she should give the baby to someone who can love and care for him or her.

Pro-choice.
But only if they honestly think the child won't have a good life.
That's the only reason I'll go with it.

Pro-life. Advances in technology allow us to see the child developing in the womb, and it is OBVIOUSLY a human - not just a blob of tissue.
But even if it weren't for the technology, the Bible teaches that God knits together babies in the womb, so they are HIS handiwork and therefore sacred.
