Depends on the type of book and whether you want a hundred chapters or twenty. For juvenile books I'd suggest 4-18 pages and for adult books I'd suggest 16-45 pages.

That varies all over the place. Best selling author James Patterson has some amazingly short chapters in all of his books. A typical chapter is under 5 pages. But he still writes novels that sell well and get made into movies.

However many pages you want. The beauty of fiction writing is the complete and absolute freedom you have. I believe that Kurt Vonnegut wrote some chapters that were no more than a few lines each. On the other hand, I've read chapters that were fifty or seventy pages long, some of them far too long. *cough*Atlas Shrugged*cough*.

well I usually you are safe with 25-35 pages. In a "regular" book a page has about 410 words. I use a novel writing software and it tells you the number of words so i divide the number of words I have into 410 and get a general idea of how many pages I have :) hope that helps u out.

Whatever your heart desires. If you want a more challenging read, the page number is larger, but a more easy book, that number decreases. Also, vary the page numbers, that makes a book more interesting to read. Don't have a set goal, just write.

12 pages if it's just a chapter book if it's a little bit bigger 20-25 pages !

That is up to the author. Some have short chapters--others much larger.

that depends entirely on the chapter. i've read plenty of stories where the chapter was only a sentence or a paragraph long.

doesnt really matter. it could b less than a page or 30 pages. just end it where u think it should b ended at.
