Frenchy Frenchman would start stepping up their efforts to bear down and find the terrorists in their country. Well, they have cracked down all right, but not on terrorists. Who are they busting instead? Teenagers who are translating the latest Harry Potter book and posting it on the internet before the French version is released. It's so easy to dislike the French, isn't it???

Guess you failed to recall the
“Oil for food” scandal within a UN programme, allegations of corruption involving members of Jacque Chirac's political inner circle were widespread; later investigations of the scandal appear to support these accusations to some extent- meanwhile, France bitched at the U.S. for warmongering.

Great question which really answered itself. Sure its easy to find the French disgusting. I think its disgusting that great Americans had to die to free their pathetic butts, twice. I find the majority of them to be pathetic wimps who should take the red and blue off of their flag and fly the true French white flag. They haven't shown any real moxy since Napoleon. I'm not against busting people who infringe on copyrights but I think they have a much bigger problem in the Islamization of their country. And no, I do not want that here. I had some very close Friends in college who were Islamic and they were very nice people. However, once you started to talk to their families about the USA, oh boy, whole different story. The USA is completely evil and our society is corrupt and doomed to hell. They just like the education and the money here. We are headed in the same direction as France due to our own "hand America over" crowd.

The pendulum is swinging back to the right with the French. Nothing could be done about Chirac because they have this convenient law that states their President can't be prosecuted as long as he remains in office. The French didn't avoid the war in Iraq because they were cowards, they did it because they were making too much money from that idiotic "Oil for Food" program that Billybob Clinton set up.

There was a piece I read somewhere i think Marie Claire. Many women or young girls were still being murdered by men because they are "not pure", either by rape or something else. Many of the young women have seeked helped to the french police or governtment. but the french never bother to even set foot in their neighborhoods and protect the young girls. So I wouldnt be suprised if what u say is true.

The Algerians in France are more hospitable and friendly than the French themselves. Their country may actually improve when the Muslims take over.

Forget about Oil for Food, France has been involved in unprovoked military activity in Africa DOZENS of times in the last 50 years. Hypocrisy at its finest!

I like the "French" - French Toast, French Bread, French Fries, French Roast Coffee, French Vanilla Ice Cream. French Vanilla Coffee Creamer and the French people. I may not agree with their views on the United States, but they are entitled to their views, just as we are. We don't want them telling us how we should run our country, so it really is none of our business how they run theirs.

Actually, no. It is hard to dislike a people who had the courage to stand up to George Bush and see that his Iraq adventure would be a disaster long before most US citizens did. As for the Harry Potter translation, they are simply enforcing international copyright law, as any country would.

So you're saying that all followers of Islam are terrorists? Honestly, I find that easier to detest than people cracking down on copywrite infringment.

A bad example has great value.

As their economy goes down due to various bad choices (socialism, embracing Islam), they will stand as an example to the rest of Europe on what NOT to do.
