I would talk to a doctor, maybe there are some different meds he can get on that doesn't cause incompetence. You can always adopt as well.

If you're really sure he's the guy you want to marry then you could always adopt or use many of today's methods for becoming pregnant. But, you must think about your own happiness as well. You have to be resolute in understanding that your sex life will be nearly non-existent. Down the road you may have a serious problem with this and could end up being very hurtful to both of you later. Also, if you aren't past the point of no return, do some research on Bi-Polar. It can be very hard on relationships. In fact it can be absolutely horrible to deal with. Just know what you're getting into so you don't suddenly wake up one morning and realize you're with a nut job who can't give you a child, is abusive because he's a nut case and can't give you even sexual satisfaction.

My ex boyfriend is bipolar too. He is on medication as well. But had no issues not having an erection? Maybe the two of you should consult his doctor to get him on the right meds that help his disorder and help you to have a child and to be intimate sexually. I am not a doctor so my advice just comes from having a relationship with somebody who was bipolar. Good luck. And you can ALWAYS adopt. Many many little ones out there need loving good homes.

Perhaps the best option you could have in this situation is adoption. If this man has a biological child with you he runs the risk of passing on his medical problems. I understand the need to have a child, but at what cost? Ask your bf if he has been happy, before he was diagnosed. Is this something he would want a child to go through?

I would not leave him for that reason as I was once in the same boat as you my fiance took medicine for depression that caused the same issues your fiance is having. There are ways to conceive a child still just speak with the clinics prior to marriage and take your fiance with you that way you both know what you are in store for in the future. You might try asking him if the doctor can do something different with his medication to fix these issues because that is what my fiance is going to do after we tie the knot. So, try to talk with him and also to the clinics about his medicine and the conceiving matters. Good luck!

He should talk w/ his Dr. about the erection issue there are several different meds that can help w/ this. Also if he's infertile from his meds. theres nothing you can do but if he just has a low sperm count theres plenty you can for that.
Word of advice make him take his meds! I've known a few people w/ bipolar and they all tend to come off there meds from time to time and really flip out...this can be dangerous

Well you only have 3 options:
1) Adopt
2) He can stop taking his medication for a week and you guys can try, but depending on how his condition is, you probably don't want to do this.
3) If you really love him, this shouldn't be an issue

Are you absolutely sure he can't have kids? Miracles do happen! But one option may be they can extract from him and inseminate you, or you can go to a sperm bank and get inseminated? I know it isn't the same, but there are many families who raise children that aren't biological and they love them just as much! On another note, although sex is not the most important thing in a relationship, it sure is something you might want to think about before tying the knot
Good luck to you 2 :}

first you have to see if he is the fertile sort, maybe the medications can also affect that. you should seek some medical advice as to what ur options are cos there are new technologies out every day.
if you really love him and know u want to spend the rest of your life with him then that is all that matters. of course, having a family would be the perfect scenario but sometimes God has his reasons for the ways things are.
Good luck

How long have you met? Are you sure he wants to marry you?
You need to have a serious discussion with him about what he wants. Adoption is an option. but would he want to adopt a child? Or would you even want to adopt a child. For some people they want a child that they created and adoption isn't an option.
