No that doesn't mean a thing. Even though the norm is true that most women have normal cycles where they ovulate, become fertile and then cycle alternately and repeat that in a 28 to 31 day cycle and that their fertile time is usually in the week in the middle of their cycle, that isn't always the case because too many factors in our health play a role in fertility situations. Because of that, our bodies don't always follow the norm and our eggs don't always release at the times they are suppose to nor do our cycles stay regular. Plus there is medications and diets and eating habits and stress, etc. that all play a part in the whole of things. Plus, the bigger facture in all of that is that you cannot tell a sperm not to go find an egg because if they can wiggle their little tails up stream fast and hard enough, they will go all the way to the ovary and fertilize an egg if they choose to. That is specifically what they were designed to do, and if they are powerful and strong enough, they can even get around the 'birth control' because there are lots of documented cases that prove that. There is no guarantee also with any form of birth control that is 100% and all companies who create them say so. Therefore, if you have sex at any time with or without any type of birth control, and on or off your cycle, there is always a possibility of pregnancy, even if there isn't full incertion by the male partner. There may be only the slightest chance of it, but since a sperm cannot read statistics, they don't know the odds. They just have one thing in mind and that is to be the first to reach their target. The only guarantee for not getting pregnant out there is not to go down that road until you definitely know you want to have a baby and that is called abstinence.

You can get pregnant at ANY time, including on your period.
Menstruation usually stops when a woman is pregnant. However, in some cases, a woman might have a period with less blood or that lasts fewer days than usual and still be pregnant. Your confusion is understandable because these signs can lead women to believe they are not pregnant. However, various kinds of bleeding can occur in early pregnancy. Women can get some spotting in their first trimester:
* when the fertilized egg implants in the uterus;
* if the pregnancy is abnormal in any way [i.e., ectopic pregnancy (implantation outside of the uterus, such as in a fallopian tube), a threatening miscarriage]; or,
* from bleeding as part of their menstrual cycle (this is extremely rare).

Yes, you can still get pregnant. Some people say it is easier to get pregnant while you are on your period. It actually makes since if you think about it, the eggs are more active at that time. I have a friend that had her regular periods the whole 9 months of her pregnancy, baby was fine.

You can still get pregnant when you're on your period.. but if u've used protection then you're less likely to be able to become pregnant condoms are like 99% effective.. so if you use a condom and have sex while your on you shouldn't get pregnant but theres always a danger of becoming pregnant when using condoms but its only 1% ..
Hope this has helped you out lol = )

There isn't a day where a girl cannot get pregnant. If for some reason the condom doesn't work and you still have your period afterwards that doesnt mean you arent pregnant, it means you are still menustrating from your current cycle. You would have to wait for your next cycle to know.

You can get pregnant on your period, but it is not as likely.
With a condom, your chances of getting pregnant on your period would be pretty slim if the condom is used correctly.
As I always have an obligation to say...nothing but abstinence is 100 percent effective at preventing pregnancy.

There is ALWAYS a chance that you can get pregnant, even while on your period. Sperm can live in the body for a week or so, so you have to be extra careful not to get any in or on your vagina. If you are careful and use a condom correctly, and no sperm get anywhere near your vagina, then your chances of becoming pregnant drastically decrease to nearly zero.
Hope this helps! :-)

although you are less likely to become pregnant while on your period, it is still possible. Everyone's cycles are different. But if you are using condoms you should be fine, also you should get on birth control if you aren't already. But of course you are still going to have your period after you just did it. just be careful
