I am taking the train to Prague. Could anyone also advise me as to:

Should I book the train ticket in advance, over the internet?
Should I bother to spend the extra, and go first class?

Any thoughts, or experience with these questions will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The airport bus from Tegel to Hbf. should take about 25 -30 minutes.
You might want to book the train in advance if you know the date and time and if you're leaving for Prag. the same day you arrive in Berlin. Otherwise just buy it a day in advance at the station or a travel buro that sells train tix. First class is not worth the extra money. 2nd is fine on that trip.

lets you buy tix online in advance adn has limited train schedules.
