It is very possible to get your bachelors in three years, that's what i'm doing. I graduated in 2005 and i'll be done in May of 2008. It's a lot of hard work, but it's not too overwhelming. I had one AP credit from high school. When I got to college, i tested out of two classes. Then each semester I took 18-21 credit hours and 12 in the summer. Doing this enabled me to reach 124 credit hours required for graduation (usually between 124-135 for college, depending on the college and/or your degree). Med school is a different story and is not something you want to rush. I believe the track in med school is predetermined for you and don't forget you have to go through residency, etc. Good luck, let me know if you have more questions.

It is possible to get a BA/BSc in 3 years if you go to school all year (not just fall and spring) and if you carry a max load (about 18 hours) the whole time. It's not easy. In fact, it's VERY hard.

Medical school is 4-years (2 classroom and 2 clinical) plus an internship and a residency that could add as much as 2-7 more years. There are no viable shortcuts in medical school (for good reason) since nobody wants a doctor who "skipped out" on his/her classes.

Why the hurry, aren't you planning on living a nice long life?

You can get a bachelors in 3 years. It's the amount of credit hours you have that counts. Some kids take AP courses in high school that qualify for college credit and this speeds them on their way to their bachelors. Others simply take overloads each semester and challenge some courses for credit when they can.

Medical school is not that easy. You can't accumulate credit ahead like you can for your bachelors. There may be a way to do it in 3 years, but who wants a doctor treating them that took shortcuts in medical school????
