If you a taking a group of kids out to eat then nothing is better than a McD's with a playground, provided it's in a nice part of town.
There are some times when McDonalds is not appropriate but it is not considered trashy.

I don't consider it trashy. I have stopped there for a hamburger when I have been super busy and otherwise would not have eaten at all. I also occasionally stop in the morning for one of their iced coffees.
However I would not take anyone there to eat as a treat.

I would say it's not considered trashy. Kids love it! I just wouldn't eat there too often because of the high fat content in the food.

Not for me....I eat there 2 to 5 times a week(grilled chicken salads or wraps without fattening sauces). Instead of soda, I order water or coffee and have a yogurt parfait or fruit salad. Healthy NOT trashy!!

I don't know that it is considered trashy, except that the quality of the food is comparable to eating trash.
For both taste and nutrition, there are better (and less expensive) options.

It really is considered trashy but it really isn't because it's the best place to get a doublecheese 4 only $1.00 no tax.

i dont know what the term trashy means but from the sound of it, i dont think eatin at mcdonalds is trashy

McD's is not trashy, granted the food has a high fat and caloric intake, nothing is bad for you in moderation. and McD's is slowly but surely getting healthier options. such as there line of wonderful salads. try them out.

Definitely not...almost EVERYONE has eaten at Mcdonald's at least once in their life. It's definitely not looked down upon if you eat there, but if you work there it's a different story.
