He who kills is the name of a movie that comes on every halloween about a cursed doll that comes to life and tries to kill the woman in her apartment.
I also like ZPG a movie about the worlds population being told they cant reproduce anymore, so the goverment issues these walking talking maniquins to everyone who is desperate to be parents.
how about Barberella where a bunch of kids get there man eating dolls to bite Jane fonda, Thats just one scene though.
the TwighlightZone had an episode called Talking tina that was about a little girls doll who threatens Telly Savalis and then ends up killinghim

"Pinocchio's Revenge"
Alfred Hitchcock had some great ones:
#1.20, #3.1, #3.13
"Dummy"
"The Dummy"
"Devil Doll"
It's not easy to find current movies like these other than "Chucky" (and the recent "Dead Silence") that the entire plot is centered around dummies and dolls.

...no question, one of the scariest doll movies, comes from a segment in the 1975 ABC T.V. movie, and horror anthology, "Trilogy of Terror"; in the segment I speak of, Karen Black plays a young woman, who finds herself in possession of a African Zumi Warrior doll, and despite an attached warning certificate/scroll, she inadvertantly breaks a chain around it's waist, which brings the doll to life. The demonic-looking doll viciously stalks and terrorizes the woman all around her apartment, and despite all efforts, the woman, who gets progressively cut, bruised and terrorized, finds it ever-increasingly difficult to destroy the grotesque & unearthly thing, let alone stop it.
...least to say, the story ends with a very ironically horrific and scary twist ending!!!
This little vicious bastard of a doll returned, over 20 years later, in a lackluster made-for-cable sequel, entitled, of course "Triolgy of Terror II"
