We spend millions and billions of dollars on building and dropping bombs. Could we spend half of that on dropping food/clothes to the countries we are in conflict with. As a christian nation, should we be the most violent nation?

first we blow them up them we rebuild....its stupid.its also stupid to spend our efforts, values, and loved ones on those who are not asking,or wanting our help.we have our own problems, and plenty other people who just want help.they are killing themselves, then what they don't do,we go finish it up for them.it is none of our business, period.

First America is not a Christan Nation though Christianity is practiced by a vast majority. US is a professed Secular State.

Dropping Food and clothing in countries which are hit by calamities like drought/floods etc is understandable but what when other issues are involved, Above all how would the Great American Armament Producing Industry Survive.

Truth be told America gives billions of food and medical aid to other countries. In Somalia we dropped food and the war lords took it and used it against the population to support them. So I would suppose a reasonable answer is that when you give aid sometimes you have to blow up things to help out. And when you blow things up you kill people, hopefully the warlord and his minions. And I guess if that doesn't work you send in the Marines and they get shot and killed to feed some idiot in a far off land. Makes perfect sense in such a perfect world.
As a Christain nation we are the most generous nation on the planet. And if one watches and pays attention to what happens in the world he can easily recognize that. In traveling around the world I have always noticed one constant. Everyone wants to come here.

i do no longer possibly care one way or the different what non-militia human beings think of of him. Their critiques do no longer count selection i this count. inspite of the shown fact that, as a peace-time and warfare-time veteran myself, i might call this Sailor a Veteran. He enlisted and served sufficient time to be legally a Veteran. in the time of the background of united statesa., there have been thousands of thousands of Servicemen who the two served purely throughout peace-time or by no potential went downrange throughout warfare-time - they're all Veterans. All that suggested, i'm perplexed approximately this PO3 element. it relatively is an computerized merchandising after a designated term of Serivce - till the Commander says no. out of your tale, I purely don;t understand why he did no longer pin on his PO3 - some thing is up. BTW: it relatively is "honorable" discharge, no longer "honorary" - meaning some thing totally diverse.

I don't know. We won't win any hearts and minds by dropping a frozen turkey on somebody's head.

Then, in instances where food-drops are immediately seized by thugs, we succeed only in feeding oppressors.

Good thing we are not a 'Christian nation'. A nation with free Christians in it, sure. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yeah...that would give the terrorists designer outfits to wear over their vest bombs! Great idea!

Better prepare for the wave of attacks that happens when we drop "non-muslim approved food" on these poor nations. Allah forbid a pork chop sandwich fall into the wrong hands!

With doctors, lawyers, etc, willing to become human bombs, do they need food and clothing?

If we dropped clothes and food, the evil powers that be would just collect, horde, and sell it. Then they'd take the money they made and buy more weapons to attack us.

Yes, you catch more flies with honey, but they keep laying maggots until you kill them.

You should run for office.

The whole reason Bush has so many enemies is because he keeps bullying the whole world and trespassing and bombing anyone who won't hand over their OIL.

All those enemies he keeps bragging about could be helpful friends if they were treated right..

Well, unfortunately the people who make bombs and planes have more political influence than the people who make food and clothes.
