Work out the mole fraction of water: moles H2O = 24/18 and moles ethanol = 48/46. Add up the total moles, and work out what fraction is water. Then simply multiply this by 23.8.

D. You find the mole fraction of water, you do that by dividing the number of grams in this mixture (24.0) by the gram weight of H2O (18.0) and do the same with...that, (I dont feel like figuring out its name) then the formula is simply

Mols of H2O / Mols of H2O + Mols of the other substance.

Now take that number and multiply it by 23.8.

A hypothetical question is one that is replied purely in terms of validity, no longer soundness. subsequently the question is designed to make diverse assumptions, and be replied as though those assumption are authentic. as an occasion, a guy or woman might ask: might you consume the moon, if it have been made out of barbecue spare ribs? this question presupposes that the moon is made out of barbecue spare ribs, and asks purely in spite of if or no longer you will possibly consume it. An objection based upon the composition of the moon isn't an ideal answer for the question, because it relatively is given to be desperate. purely solutions including confident, no or relies upon on what form of sauce is attainable may be valid solutions for this hypothetical question. In regulation, a hypothetical question is one that involves an imaginary concern incorporating info relating to the case. A witness can then be asked to respond to or to offer an opinion on the question and hypothetical concern
