The generation that was using protest against the war in Vietnam, are in their 50's and 60's. Now, the new generations seem to care less and less about standing up for their rights. Either they just don't give a hoot or they think they are to busy to protest. But, when the poop hits the fan, will they look in the mirror and say- why didn't I do something? But it will be to late. People have to unite together and make a stand. But, as you see - that isn't done very often. Even putting a sign on your back wind shield with shoe polish is protesting, if you can handle all of the finger pointing, look at that car and so on.. Squeakiest wheel gets oiled first is my theory. But, can't find enough people that have the same ideology to make a difference. It's sad, sad, and so sad.

W Bush was placed in power by those in control. I'm talking about the private bankers that sit on the Federal Reserve, the war profiteers like the Carlyle Group which Bush Sr. is a part of, and Halliburton, the PNAC, and the oil industry.

"If I had $1 for every time someone pointlessly complained..."
Give us some "lies" Bush knowingly said. Even if he did lie (which he didn't, otherwise the radical liberals would have had him impeached already), all I have to do is quote Bill Clinton (remember that?).
Also, compared to other wars, the casualties in Iraq are minimal. Basically, it's the soldiers dying defending the free world in Iraq, or everyone else dying at the hands of the terrorists (for example, 9/11).
Nearly every wartime president was highly unpopular during his term, but history almost always shines brightly on the ones who never gave up, which ultimately was a decision for the best. Bush will be the same.

This is only a temporary job to Bush. The purpose for having a job is to make money. So, he's making as much money as he possibly can while the job lasts. He's looking out for (in his opinion) #1.

Truth B Told it is the U.S. Congress that rules the roost! The President can not do anything without being presented with a bill to sign. They authorized the war in Iraq and they keep authorizing spending bills. I guess he could veto them but then my son and your son would be without the tools necessary to defend themselves. That then would be unpatriotic!

And if I had a dollar for every lie Clinton said, or intern that was assulted, or all the money he could have saved just by doing his job.
I'd probally move to Dubai (which I intend on visiting in the near future).

Because he and his group in power just want more power and money and they only pretend to care about other things because people would be really pissed if they didn't.
