No.. not greedy. Anytime you are a young player you need to be taken care of financially. Football is not forever.

If he was in mid contract and holding out IE Larry Johnson that is greedy.

To get your initial contract down is only business and he needs to do what is right for himself and his family.

If he gets hurt tomorrow and never plays football again he will be okay cause of the gauranteed money..

Brady Quinn is no more greedy than any other player in the NFL, he just is getting more press about it. It would be silly for a person who could negotiate a higher salary to not negotiate. The average career of an NFL player is three years, so why not get the most while you can? The fact that his PARENTS have money does not mean he is entitled to it.

Brady demanded what his market value was. Yes, market value because a willing buyer (the browns) was willing to pay it.

Our capitalist system depends on ...wait...I am wasting my keystrokes on this, aren't I....

Do you watch sports? Seriously? I'm not a fan of his at all, but everytime there is a hold-out, it's the agent. They get a nice percentage of the money. The kids coming out don't know what to do, and the agents tell them that they'll take care of it.

I have a friend who was a holdout, and he said he didn't know anything, and his greedy agent had him believing all kinds of things. He said he'd do things alot different now.

Oh man go get a friggin job and stop telling people they should be investing into the "hood." So what he is from a middle-class family? So because of that he should live off his parents forever and give ***holes like you all his money? He is an athlete and he had to play a lot of football and get into shape to earn that money.

Middle-classed isn't "mad money either n shiznit yo" I know with the feds taking down the crack game it must be tough but McDonalds is always hiring....I hear you can go from sweeping floors to fryboy in only 6 months!

I have been a Brady fan the entire time he was at Notre Dame. Now I'm not so sure. It would take the average Cleveland citizen 1,000 years to make what he'll be making. Every time someone asks him about being greedy, he tells this stupid story about being a toddler and his mom didn't have enough money for groceries, so she took it out of his piggy bank and he was worried about not having money to go to college. He was by no means poor he had a personal trainer to prep him for college football all through middle and high school. He seems pretty greedy to me. Maybe he can be like Reggie Bush and give a little back to the community.

He got bad advice and he took it. These players need to make the agents more accountable. He could have OWNED Cleveland by signing early and having good faith with the fans. He blew it.
As for you,get a job, Brady Quinn owes you nothing.

Quinn has to play for a shi**y team like the Browns, so he should have held out for a lot more money.

He probably feels that he needs to earn his own money, and not sponge of the family or government. People in the hood (like you) probably need to make alternative plans.
