The moon doesn't rotate on its axis, so if you lived on the part that was facing the Earth, then you would probably not get much Sun, because the Earth would block the sunlight as the Earth rotated and orbited around the Sun, right?

The Moon rotates on its axis. From the Earth it always seems the same becuse the rotation and the revolution around the Earth need the same time to be completed (about 29 days). If you stand at the center of the visible side of the Moon, you will see the sunrise at the first quarter of Moon; it will rise in the starry sky till its maximum height a week after, when it is full Moon; then the Sun will descend towards the horizon and the sunset will be after another week, at the last quarter of Moon; the long night begins, at the new Moon for you will be midnight; the sunrise will be at the first quarter of Moon, after a month from the previous one. If you are on the not visible side, the conditions are opposite (noon for the new Moon and midnight at the full Moon). The Earth never hides the sunlight to the Moon (it happens only at lunar eclipses).

Obviously you didn't research much before posting ur question. First of all the moon does rotate on the axis, And if the earth blocked out all the light that got to the moon, then why is it lit up, and why does it change stages.... Hmmm? Yeah thought so... But to answer your original question... The day would be different, because 1 day on the moon is about 27-29 days on earth...

The light side becomes dark when the moon rotates to the back side of the earth, and the dark side becomes lighted at the same time, because sunlight shines past the earth onto the moon. That's why we have full moons and new moons.

There is no "dark side of the moon." There is only the "side that doesn't ever face the earth"

Date and time, as explained elsewhere, would be based on Greenwich mean time, also called Zulu time.

The moon does rotate on its axis - once every 29 days, t he same as its period around the earth. The same side always points toward Earth, whether hidden (new moon) or fully exposed (full moon).

Days and nights would be two weeks each on the moon.

In analysis of your assumption=
The moon does spin on its axis Just like the earth does. One Earth Spin is called one 24 hr day .
One spin of the moon on itself is aprox. 655.2 hour which is equal to one day on the moon.
So the Earth spins 27.3 times faster than the Moon. The moon reflects light as it does because its orbit around the eath is inclined at an angle of 5 degree., relative to the Earth's orbit.Therfore there is no blockage of light, except during eclipses.

For the most part, sincethe moon revoles with the earth, there is hardly any difference in day, since on half of the time the side your on will face the sun, the other time you will be away. However, there is a lack of atmosphere. So thus, you will need to put on a space suit before going to work in the morning. But since there is no buisnesses on the moon, there is no work! :) But seriously, also due to the lack of atmosphere, there is a HUGE dramatic change in temperature. Also, the moon does change angle, but barely, and only for ecipses, so there is hardly any variation from day to day.

The moon DOES rotate on its access, it just seems that it does not because its rotation is locked in synchronous rotation with the Earth. A day on the moon lasts 29.53 days.

Well on the moon there is very very little gravity. They also have 2 weeks of darkness and then 2 weeks of light. If you were out side of a space capsule then you would have to wear a space suit.

Hope this answers your question

The moon has a light and darkside, so depending on the side you lived on you would either have continual light or continual darkness.
