I grew up on potatoes. A meal without potatoes is not complete.
My favorites are, starting with my top favorite first:
Fried with onions and peppers
Baked with butter and sour cream
Mashed with a touch of garlic served with gravy
Scalloped

Finely sliced, layered with Cheese and finley sliced onion rings, but you need several layers...
Put it in a cassorole dish and fill about 2/3rd of the way with milk.
Put it in the oven to roast for about 40 - 45 minutes, sprinkle on some more cheese and brown off....
Absolutley delicious..
For a bit more flavour add herbs and crushed garlic between the layers...try it you'll love it...
Potatoes a la millie...

I'm not a big potatoe eater. I have to be in the mood for them but I guess I would have to say french fries.

Mmmmm for me, homemade wedges with a drizzle of olive oil, rosemary and garlic, red onions and sweet red peppers, some salt & pepper seasoning then roasted in the oven. Especially good if you use vivaldi potatoes... I think I might just go and make some now!
