I buy things very often on ebay and sell things.
The seller you bought something from should be able to give you a TRACKING NUMBER so you can go to www.ups.com and track your package. But whether it will take 1-3 or 4-6 bussiness days really depends on how it was shipped through UPS, its not just one standard way of shipping there are different ways to ship packages through UPS.

It depends entirely on where the shipper is and where YOU are. UPS can take longer if you (or the shipper) is not near a regular sorting center.

Remember that most sellers on Ebay are not professional businesses. They do not have full shipping centers at their disposal. So the seller may be including in the time to get the item packed and shipped, which can add a day or two. In addition, the fact that you bought on a FRIDAY, means that the seller may not be able to get TO a UPS office until Monday, thus adding in a couple of days there too. 4-6 days is not unreasonable when dealing on Ebay.

If you won it on friday and it shipped that day or saturday then it might get there in the middle or end of the next week. Business days, depending on the company, do not include saturday or sunday, for some it's just sunday they don't count.
Also has to do with where you ship it from.
But if it's something that is small or big enough to be shipped UPS you should get it in the middle of the week at the earliest.

I've bought from eBay often and also sold on it some. If you are quoted 1-6 days- which sounds like he doesn't want to get your hopes up too high- you can expect it in 2-3 days. Of course sometimes things don't go as planned and you might wait longer. Congrats on your winning bid.

Well you have to consider that the person wont be sending it until he/she has time to do so. It also depends on where it is coming from - how many states away. I would expect the package in 7 business days.

Depends on the size and where it is coming from usually between 3and 5 days MAX unless it is a reall big item plus the seller must send it and then they send you a comfirm number that allows you to track it

Depends how far you are from the shipper.

Same state, 1-3 days, Alaska to Florida... more like 6+ days.

that's if they've not sent it express or next day or any fancy (expensive) way.

I shop frequently on ebay--it usually takes LONGER, BUT it's not the seler's fault, it is usually the shipment service's fault. You know how thaey have to 'prepare' the package?? lol
hope this helps!!
