While i think it is important to do both, i live the mantra " God(or Deity of choice), Protect me from my friends, my enemies I can handle." It has been my experience in life, that your friends will sink a knife deeper and more often into you than an enemy will. Not to mention it hurts a helluva lot more. Hence the saying, with friends like that, who needs enemies? Needless to say, now, i can count my true friends on one hand.

Sadly, I don't. From experience I know that friends part and both move on with their lives. But I make the friendship as great as I can while it lasts.
And since my first year of college is about to start, I get to make all new friends - and even better, enemies!! Yay!

Sounds good just be sure they really are your enemy. Never jumped to conclusions about a potential friend. You can make enemies where none was needed.

The only enemies I have are the squirrels stealing my tomatoes in my garden. I ran out of BB's long ago, but I got one with a brick this morning. Twitch...twitch...

to be trouble-free your extra constructive staying as distant out of your enemies as achievable , why complicate issues , I certainly have by no skill understood that word as long as I certainly have lived encompass your self in existence with the human beings who you like ...... existence is to short to be irritating approximately 'enemies'

no, I am leary about having a lot of friends because eventually they do stab you in the back. I don't need people like that in my life.
