I am always smiling at my kids - no matter how bad they have been. But I am not always smiling on the inside and won't until I figure some stuff out in my life and do what is best for my children and for my own happiness as well
:)

I think that seeing my children would make me happy.
However, this is an illusion, because as soon as I was with my children, life would go on, and I would encounter other problems.
Being happy and smiling are not what is most important in this world. Truth is far more important. Ah, now I am smiling!

I am not smiling on the outside, however I am perfectly happy and smiling on the inside. The effort of continuously smiling would be too great for anyone - however happy.

Not happy....because I haven't had a natural night of sleep in so long I cannot remember! I either have to have drug-induced sleep (Ambien) or I end up with insomnia, tossing and turning.
Last night I was exhausted, but it took me an HOUR to fall asleep; woke up again at 2am and couldn't go back to sleep till nearly 5.
So a good, solid night's sleep, drool included, would make me happy!

I would be happy if I were at home sleeping. I work overnight at least for the next two weeks, 3 days and 8 hours.

Nope, because I woke up early and couldn't fall back to sleep. But yesterday was a great day, and I'm still in a good mood. But don't worry, I do smile a lot everyday.

I can definitely be and feel happy without smiling!
It could be called a deep contentment.....
I now know I'm loved by my Maker and by my husband and by my children and grandchildren.
That makes life feel good.
