You're just in luck! Linen N' Things is having a sale on cooking and dinner sets. I'm a bargain shopper, so I am always on the lookout for deals :-)

1. Go to SlickDeals and grab the coupon codes (http://slickdeals.net/)

2. Go to www.lnt.com and purchase those products!

3. Or just follow the links from slickdeals.net. Look for the "LNT Everything Kitchen 17-piece Cookware Sets...."

Congratulations on college, and on your first apartment!

It's very difficult to find inexpensive, good quality cookware. But you might find something at your local thrift store, or from your local Freecycle group. Also, if you have them, check your local Dollar General stores, or the local equivalent.

There are a few things you probably will want to invest in: A Crock Pot or other slow-cooker, a double-boiler/deep-fat fryer, and a good cutting board. All of these can be found at most good department stores, and will repay you with good meals for many years to come.

Good luck!

Check out your local thrift store or Goodwill. They often have 'sets' of dinnerware and tons of miscellaneous kitchen ware, including glass bake dishes, crock pots, etc.
