Uh...Does Matt Schaub leaving Atlanta ring a bell?...Obviously, the Falcons now realize with Vick's situation that trading Schaub was a boneheaded move...The Packers are not gonna do something that stupid...Favre is done after this season...Aaron Rodgers is gonna start after Favre retires...Thats why they have Rodgers...duh...

Aaron Rogers is in the worst position imaginable.

think about it you have a future hall of famer in front of you that is past his prime, but nobody will kick him out and he won't go. Rogers can't say anything bad because he is one of the all time greats.

WHile this is going on he is holding a clipboard even though he has the potential to be a good qb. Every year he hears hold it for one more year Farve will retire and then he comes back again.

After farve finally leads everything Rogers does will be compared to what Farve did, and if they had Farve what would be happening. He is in QB hell. His best bet is to get out of GB and to go somewhere for a fresh start. By the time he plays Clausen will becoming out of Notre Dame lol!

Here we go with the QB controversy already. Ted Thompson is the worst GM in Green Bay history. I like Aaron Rodgers. Yes, he has enormous shoes to fill. The GM obviously does not have a lot of faith in him since he drafted TWO QBs in the draft. It is also a statement that they will absolutely refuse to allow Favre back onto the team even though Favre wants back according to his wavering statements testing the waters of a comeback to Green Bay. So really they have three QBs in Green Bay who are ready to play and want to play right now. But the staff are willing to let only one play at the moment. That man is Aaron Rodgers. But if the Green Bay GM were smart at all, he would trade Rodgers and keep Brohm for the future. Allow Brett Favre to come back since it is obvious he wants to come back now. Add some experience and use some of that cap room to build a championship team, not just a playoff team. Like I said, I like Rodgers. He is a team player. But the worst thing to happen is make him your man and then watch him go down with an injury. Where would that leave him and the team? He is under too much pressure here. Let him go somewhere else where he will have less pressure. The Green Bay staff are making a mistake here at the QB position. Fire Ted Thompson!!

For Packer fans I hope Aaron Rogers is gone. He SUCKS! The Packers need to go a different route in replacing Favre. Rogers has shown nothing in pre season games or playing time to say he is a legit NFL starter.

Brett Favre could retire and go hunting and fishing down in Mississippi with Steve McNair for 5 years, then come back and still be better than Aaron Rogers.

Yes, I think so but he shouldn't. I respect the guy but he has overstayed his welcome. Aaron Rogers will not play a season until he is 30 years old if they would of gotten rid of Favre (they should have) right now we are probably talking about how good Aaron Rodgers. If I were him I would ask for a trade.Because he is not getting any playing time. And if you give him some time he has got some serious potential.

Farve is done after this season and rodgers will trake over and the packer will start to win a couple more games per season

If Rodgers was better he would be starting. I dont care how popular Farve is. They play to win and start the best players to give them that chance. If they felt that strongly about him they would get rid of Farve. Its what the 49ers did that with Montana and Young.
