On my maternal Grandmothers side our ancestors lived in Alnwick Castle. In 1096 Yves de Vescy was a baron there and that is our ancestor. This castle is used for the school in the Harry Potter movie and in scenes of Elizabeth 1 The Virgin Queen, a movie I love, and other movies also. I hope some day to be able to visit this place for it has a beautiful garden to see along with the castle itself.

That is a tough one. I am a great example of the American crock pot. You know.. a little of this, a little of that. I have traced family back to England on my paternal side and Ireland on my maternal side. But that all goes wayyy back. I wouldn't want to be called a mutt

i know by answering this question im gonna leave myself open to ridicule but here goes anyways>>im an welsh-irish-gypsy-piky my bloodline runs deep through caerphilly(town in south wales uk)in the valley of abertridwr(welsh translation>meeting of the three waters) my family goes back a hundred or more years into the valleys history my ancestores helped build the villages into a town and have a very strong and well known spiritualistic links within the towns history(gypsy blood)which includes fortune telling palm reading spiritual healing (tho a lot different to todays methods)and a very strong(piky)intuation and links with the spirit world i have inherited the strong intuation which has been proven to help others as well as myself also i have inherited the skills of spiritual healing which again has been proven to work but this skill i did not learn i can only do it by going on intuition(strong gut feelings which guide me)and my biggest and most treasured gift is the ability to read and learn ppls personality traits,likes,dislikes and thier sense of humour after only being in the same room as them 4 a short while i dont even need to meet them i can even give very close estimations about a persons personality from a photo of them (facing the camera but not needing to look directly into it)these are gifts that run in my blood and i cannot control them 4 my personal desires (even tho my strong intuition has saved mine and others skins on a no' of times)more to the fact my life is steered by them i would not admit to any of these things if it were not true to fact! as i have many ppl who have benifitted from my gifts who would swear that b4 thier experiences of my gifts they were total sceptics i have walked with the spirits of dead miners in company of my non believing cousin(who has certain sensativaties but is too afraid to embrace them)who swore never to walk the grounds of the sengenedd pit desaster(its in the welsh history books)with me ever again i have done 2 excorcisms which gave the sceptic homeowners peacefull releif after which thier minds were more open i am visited by entities who r just passing through pretty often i see and feel thier presance but i have yet to talk to any but and this even spooks me i have at certain bad times of my life been given warnings(visited) by a spirit whome of which have embraced me to comfort me when ive been alone also another who warned me twice in my life of the inevertable end of the two long term relationships a month before (these warnings were not understood until the break ups had passed)these i would of passed off as dreams had not my last partner had a visit by the same aporition herself(i told her nothing untill we wrote down the descriptions of each of our visitors separately that wen revealed were excactly identicle.....ok i think ill leave it there!! lol

My parents were both born in Belgium as were all the ancestors before them, well as far back as has been recorded.
