He doesn't like to be picked up, but is cool once he is in my hands.

Gentle daily handling is the only way to get him used to being handled. Some tame down more than others--they really do have individual personalities! My female always tried to whip me with her tail every time I picked her up. My big male on the other hand was a big loaf--sweet as could be. :)

you need to handle him every day for a hour or so and he will become more tame with more time. 2 dress like a lady iguana and see if he hits on you!!
