What are you doing? Tell me about it

So no one out there wants to admit that they're 64. I'm still working, but I'm not 'waiting for a client'. As a translator, my clients come to me by e-mail and unless I pull the plug, they just keep coming.

Yes Celia, but what are you doing?

Can I close this question early? No one has yet told me what they're doing. Presumably they're not doing anything.

I am 61, live in London and work as a rock music photographer.I am coming to the end of a season of music festivals and have been working with the likes of Marilyn Manson, Iggy Pop and many others.I love my work, mainly because I love meeting people, love rock music and get to be paid to go to gigs.I also have been a private therapist for 22 yrs and a nurse for the same amount of time.I brought up my children on my own and see them frequently as they love to come and hear what I have been up to.I go to the gym as often as I can and am trying to learn to play the guitar. I am going to New York for the first time in October and am looking forward to it. I think that is it! Phew!

I don't quite get the question - but I'm way past 64.
What am I doing? Waiting for a client to arrive.

EDIT,
Well, I can't admit to being 64 because I'm 70.
I work as a therapist. (I've now finished working with that client).
That's about all I can say.

Well, I'm not admitting to 64 yet - a few more months to go. I don't take a lot of notice of the paper age. One day I feel young, overdo things and next day feel old and creaky.

What am I doing? I'm on here, to see what's new.

I did make a batch of bread earlier, and oh that smell, it's making me feel so hungry. I've had to shut myself away from the kitchen and find something else to do, to stop me eating any. It'll be dinner time soon.

Someone has just given me a bag of veggies fresh from the allotment, so it's back to the kitchen. Oh dear!

What a boring old day I've had today, very domesticated!

Older than 64. Playing cards and shooting pool. Playing Bingo twice a week. Go out with other seniors twice a month to shop at Wal-mart and Target. Eat out once or twice a month. Learning the computer at age 73. Is this what you wanted to hear.

When I get old and losing my hair, many years from now
Will you still be .............. birthday greetings, bottle of wine
Give me your answer........who could ask for more
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I am 64! I had a brain fade for the rest of the song. : )

Not in my 60s yet. I am on Yahoo right now, about to get dress, and go to the post office. Then I will stop and get a small coke and small fries at McDonald's, and come home and attempt to clean the basement and give fresh water to my birdies outside. Not very exciting huh?

Sure, you're still needed at 64! You have lots to offer. I turned 57 last month, and I'm wise enough to know our seniors have lots of knowledge and experience from which I may benefit. I still work (Office Manager), and unless my husband's new venture makes us rich, I'll still be working in 10 years.

I am well past 64, work daily running my own business, and will until I die...I actually love my job. I own an on-line retail/wholesale company that requires attention, but not such that I cannot get away when I want...best of both worlds.

Gosh! I don't know. It would depend if you were a youthful and energetic 64.
I'm a little younger than that,,,,But I'm really just enjoying life without work (Early retirement)....at the moment.
