Why don't you just stop banging the door into the wall?
I think it's God's way of telling you that you are parking too close and opening the door too wide...
Alternatively, why not change your tatty, scratched car for a stylish open sports car such as a Morgan?
You step over the doors to get in and out and you can even take the doors off completely if the mood so takes you.

They have plastic clear slide on strips that protect the edge of the doors out , I think just call a auto store or contact the dealer and find out where to buy them , Alot of the new cars have them on now , so take a look when your out and about at some of the cars , they are clear and you cant really see them when they are put on.
If your handy you could drill and screw small panels of plexi glass where the area your doors are hitting , The plexi will look nice and invisible and help keep the sharp brick from scratching the doors ,

Couple of alternatives for you most motorist centres and halfords sell reflective strips that sit on the edge of your door, the downside is that they trap water. second option is do what I told my daughter to do and that is go to a scrap yard and get a couple of door bump strips from a wreck and stick them on your wall with a tube of "no nails". You can also spray them to match your car colour. The bump strips gp along the length of the car so if you have a wall each side then you will be quids in mate

Any type of foam mat glued to the wall will work. Try the black interlocking play/exercise mats and a glue gun.
If you are only scratching the edge of the car door, though, you can buy a strip to go on the edge of the car door at most any auto supply store.

Yup, There is but a simpler solution may be to get a protector for your door. You can get small rubber strips at most automotive stores that will clamp over the edge of the door to keep it from getting scuffed.
If this doesn't appeal to you get a small piece of carpet and attach it to the wall where your door hits it.

They do make a door edge guard, and you can find them at auto parts stores.
You can also go to a car dealer and see if they have the plastic pieces that the manufacturer uses to keep the doors from getting banged when they are made and being transported to the dealers. They most likely get thrown away when they prep the car for sale.

Why not get a strip of wood (soft pine) and drill it into the cement work. You can paint or stain it to match the brick, and when it has been overly abused, replace it.

I've seen people do it the other way round - put some old carpet on the wall where they bang their door...cheaper solution....
