I go back to work tomorrow and I am so not looking forward to the politics and the people who complain about everything. I have some co workers who always think they are getting the short end of the stick, and in reality they do the least of all of us. I don't even want to go to the effort anymore of making small talk with people who I know don't care about me.

By the way, I love the job, don't want to go anywhere else.

I hear ya on that one. :(

Just try to tune it out. And remember, if they're being fake towards you, you can be just as fake back towards them without feeling bad or expending more emotion than they're worth. Also known as the "smile and nod" technique. :)

Let's see. I'm bummed about going to work everyday. I'm trying to find another job, but so far, no luck. First of all I'm a temp and I work for another place as their clerk. I have a pretty laid back and simple day. I do nothing, accept answers on here haha literally! Anyways my boss talks about me all the time. Tells me I should be present for this cook out thing we are about to have, then tells other people he is going to make me sit in the office all day and answer phone calls (oh should I mention only like 2 calls a day!) Anyways he always talks to me if I'm by myself but if someone else walks in he totally ignores me. Oh and if I drive by him and wave he looks the opposite way. I freaking hate it! Just like me or hate me! Oh by the way did I mention that he SCREAMS all the time. He doesn't have a whisper voice at all! And he thinks he is the top chef of the whole world....UGH just annoying.

You make the first move. Every day, do things for others. Make their lives easier, more pleasant. Sift everything you say. If it is negative don't say it even when asked. Be positive; talk of good things. Don't talk about peoples unripeness. We are all here to improve before getting into the lowest heaven.

Yeah I know the feeling. Usually I dread it like that but when I finally do get back to work it isn't as bad as I thought. You get back into the swing of things and everything becomes routine again.

Every day. I don't like anyone at work, and no one likes me. It's a chore for me to be around people, as I have Social Anxiety Disorder. I wake up every day and think 'oh, not again', lol.

I feel the same way everyday, fortunately, we don't have office politics in here (small firm). It's the work that I disdain, accounting.

We've all been there. We all feel that way at times. Just hang in there! If it's any consolation, there are millions of others in the same situation.

If it bums you out that bad, it's time to throw in the towel and get a new job.

Yes, I have this one girl I work with I can't stand. She causes trouble for everyone, but mostly me. she picks and picks on me endlessly! she tries to boss everyone around. My life is miserable here, but the kinda job I do is rare, so I'm stuck here in hell.
