I have used it for the last 30 years for just my central air conditioning hose drips into. Don't know how it got filled up, but after 30 years, I guess it would eventually fill up. Does any rainfall go there also? The dry well drain is in my cellar. Is there a way I can get the water out myself without hiring someone? If I hired someone, who do I hire to do a job like that?

Little giant has a large selection of reasonably priced pumps that will drain your drywell. It depends on the application.

You can attach a hose to it and pump the water out of your basement to the curb and storm sewer. I would pump it to your flower garden, trees, garden, etc. Why waste the water?

You can empty the drywell and be ecologically friendly at the same time.

I would say rain water is no longer diverted to your drywell. It probably was at one time but many of these were abandoned after city water was made available.

Below is a link to little giant pumps for your viewing pleasure.

Buy or rent a sump pump and use that to pump the water to the drain or to where ever you need the water to go.

GFW, I suggest you buy a auto-pump when full and place it in the cavity and plug it in to 110 outlet.
set it and forget it!
125 bucks get you a good one and goes on automatically.
