Sticky Stuff Remover - no seriously, that's what it's called! It's a citrus-based fluid, which does exactly what it says on the bottle. Available at good office supplies shops and some stationers (possibly elsewhere). Just make sure you test it on a less-visible area of the paintwork first.

There is a product called Goo Gone in most drug stores or anywhere they sell home products. It works very well & will not damage paint. It is a solvient

use a water viniger mix but don't leave it on for more than a couple minutes because it will strip the paint
