ok if you go to my yahoo360 there's a link in my blog to my other yahoo360. there, there's a photo of myself and you can see my koi fish on my side. there are 2 flowers... i was going to have them done yellow but my tattoo artist said that yellow wouldnt be a good color... what other color should i use.... the ends of the petals are going to be white.

I think the flower looks great just as it is. Why change what's working? Yellow...I definitely agree with the artist...it wouldn't "pop" the way you're probably thinking. You may wanna have him/ her highlight some of the petals with a cool turquoise...a little more fuschia here and there, but I like it as is.
Haha, you should see the wicked awesome phoenix I'm getting for my birthday next month. I'll send you a pic.

I looked at your pics on your myspace page. Very cool tat! I think that yellow might not be a good choice either. Sorry. You have lots of blue in there and well as red or maybe it is orange. I think that maybe purple or lighter blue tone - just around the inside edges would look very good. Since the fish is the main part, coloring in the flowers a bright yellow will "take away" from that main feature.
Again, very very creative tattoo!

I don't see why yellow wouldn't be a good color, how about something close like corals or peach colors. Love that tattoo it rocks!
Purple would like nice, but if yellow was what you want then who gives a f*ck what they say get it anyways!
