Is it possible to clean Graffiti of an already painted wall?

We are building a new house and some one spray painted graffiti onto one of our painted and plastered walls. Is it possible to remove the spray paint without damaging the original paint on the wall , are there any chemical that do this?

You can try using cleaners to remove the paint, but I believe that you will want to repaint the wall since it is a new house. sorry to hear about the damage.

If the WD-40 doesn't work, you can go to your local paint store and pick up graffiti remover. If this is an exterior wall and tagging is common in your area they have a graffiti proof paint you can apply (which is not paint proof but makes it easier to remove the graffiti). The link below has a list of great products to pick from, and you can pick up most of these products at a local paint store

sorry but cleaning it with a proper cleaner that works is very expensive and it is probably better to re paint the wall in the long run.The only thing is it might get tagged again but this might happen if you clean it too.Re painting is probably the best option but i also know alot of people actually get a proper good graffiti piece done.this way most people have respect for it and wont tag it again.

I surely have used a product called "Goof Off" to do away with graffiti from our development as quickly as we've been tagged. try a small section to make beneficial it would not do away with the paint too. or you are able to could spray silver paint over the graffiti (the silver paint prevents the darker graffiti from bleeding by way of) and repaint. Sorry.
