The obvious first question that only an experienced vehicle tech would ask is? Do you use the same jug to top up the oil and the water, if so do you clean it after each operation?

If the answer is no, then it is likely that you have a blown head gasket or a cracked casting. The first is an easy fix, the second is a reconditioned head or motor.

It indicates that there is great possibility that the head gasket has blown. Renew the head gasket, flush out the cooling system, flush out the engine oils system with flushing oil. Put fresh oil and coolant in and everything should be OK.

Not necessarily. Could well be a blown head gasket (fairly straightforwards), or a cracked or warped head (still straightforward, but a lot more expensive) and worst case scenario, a cracked block. If that is the case, You are looking at a replacement. Best of luck!

NO. but you will need a new head gasket kit, new head bolts, anti freeze and some plasters as you WILL leave some skin on the engine as you loosen exhaust manifolds studs and everything else

your head gasket as gone.
you can repair it but it's a big job and the head may need skimming , rings replacing.
some times cheaper to buy a re con engine or try and pick a full car up cheap for the engine to fit your car

Sounds like the head gasket's gone, that'll be about £10 for the gasket...and you just don't want to know about the fitting cost...and skimming the head...

Don't bank on seeing change out of £300

It means you have a blown head or intake manifold gasket, or worst case - a cracked block or head. If it's just a bad gasket, it can be fixed. If it's a cracked block or head, you are going to be shelling out some major bucks.

Yes, or a MAJOR overhaul.

You have a seal that is broken and that requires rebuilding the engine to a large degree. Labor is by far the biggest part of the expense. It may in fact be less expensive to replace it or the entire car.

Sounds rough man,did you race it or run it hot?Pull the head and check for blown head gasket .Have the head and block pressure tested by a machine shop.Sounds bad .I bet it lopes right?Don't run it like this,it isn't right.New engine, aybe so or you can rebuild this one hopefully.Sounds like you busted the water jacket and that's not good.

Not necessarily , But it does sound like a leaking head gasket. Depending on your circumstances , You should probably look around for an estimate or look around for a different ride alltogether !
