In addition to those mentioned: Deion Sanders, Bo Jackson and Brian Jordan... don't forget Michael Jordan played minor league baseball and of course one of the greatest... Hall of Famer Jim Thorpe.

Deion Sanders, Brian Jordan, and Bo Jackson. Bo being the best at it, as he was a much better baseball player than Deion. He was always a threat to go long. Brian Jordan's short lived football carrier with the Falcons was a smart move. Staying in the NFL probably would have ended a longer Carrier in baseball. Much like Bo's carrier was ended.

In addition to Deion Sanders, Bo Jackson and Brian Jordan, George Halas played 12 games with the Yankees to go along with his lengthy football playing and coaching career.

Jim Thorpe also played pro baseball and football (not to mention his olympic career as well as a barmstorming basketball stint).

DJ Dozier (not really a Big Name -- a mere footnote in baseball).

John Elway (who only reached single A, but the minors is still professional -- they get paid).

As noted, Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson.
