As usual it is complicated and depends on how you sleep. If you sleep on your stomach you should not use a pillow. If you sleep on your side you should have a firm pillow that aligns your head with your spine. If you are a back sleeper, you should use a pillow beneath your knees to align your spine and to cup the nape of your neck.
Hope this helps!

Yes, it could cause problems with your spine/neck alignment, but most people use pillows just for comfort. If you aren't experiencing any neck pain after doing this for a while, you should be fine. If you do experience pain, try using the pillow or another alternative. If it still doesn't go away, ask your doctor for advice.

Whatever is most comfortable for you. As long as you feel well rested the next morning, there should be no problem.
If your concerned about it, go out and buy a few different pillows and see which ones are the most comfortable for you. They come in quit a few varieties..... soft, extra soft, firm, and even form fitting foam.
They also have those long body pillows that you can hug with your legs and arms. That makes for a good nights rest.

In later years, if you dont sleep with a pillow you could have some neck stiffness. If you dont sleep with your neck in a correct position you might really hurt yourself

I think you put more strain on your neck if you sleep without pillow, but it is not of major issue if you have the right position while sleeping.

No. However it is very healthy to sleep with a pillow between your knees. It is good for your back.

No, it isn't a problm. I've been doing it for years. Don't ask me why, though. One day I just diddn't use a pillow and haven't since. No problems.

i would imagine that it would strain your neck but if it doesnt hurt you then i guess its fine. maybe try finding a really thin pillow that will give you at least some support.
